Brittany is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Sacred Heart University. Her professional background includes working in ABA therapy, supporting children in developing emotional regulation, communication, and behavioral skills. She has also worked with young adults experiencing homelessness and substance use disorder, which has deepened her understanding of resilience, trauma, and the importance of compassionate, non-judgmental care. She has a passion for working with children and adolescents and is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where young clients feel heard, valued, and understood. She recognizes that growing up can come with unique challenges. Whether that’s anxiety, academic stress, peer relationships, self-esteem concerns, family changes, or big life transitions, she strives to meet each client exactly where they are. She approaches counseling from a person-centered and multicultural perspective. She believes that every client is an expert of their own experience. She is committed to honoring each client’s cultural background, identity, and lived experiences, ensuring that counseling feels respectful and inclusive.
