Treating Adults, Teens, Children

Megan is a graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She believes in creating a welcoming environment where people feel valued and respected navigating all of life’s messiness.

Megan has a background in the substance use field, supporting pregnant and parenting folks, navigating recovery and parenthood. She is interested in working with all individuals, couples and families who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships and the experiences that have shaped them.

She hopes to incorporate aspects of multiple different therapeutic approaches in her practice, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Above all, she takes a person-centered approach to meet the unique needs of every person that walks through the door.

Megan’s approach is rooted in empathy, mutual respect and a nonjudgemental stance. She believes that therapy should be accessible to all individuals, regardless of their income, background or identity status.
