Annmarie Karayianes, LCMHC, LMHC, CAP, NH Approved Supervisor, is a licensed psychotherapist in New Hampshire and Florida specializing in grief and loss, trauma, and workplace trauma, psychological safety, and recovery from toxic organizational cultures. With over 22 years of experience in
substance use and mental health treatment, Annmarie has provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings including residential and outpatient treatment, Drug Court programs, Emergency Services, and finally private practice. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based practices and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy
techniques (EFT), Gottman Techniques, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Polyvagal techniques, Psychoanalytical techniques, and mindfulness techniques (breathe work and guided visualization). Annmarie has a passion for training and has conducted mental health and substance use trainings on a local and state level, as well as participating in national trainings for Drug Courts across the country. Annmarie is excited to assist therapists to
enhance their skills and continue their journey of learning through training and supervision.
