Ala is a graduate student at Rivier University, where she is pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an expected graduation in the spring of 2026. As an intern therapist, Ala is gaining hands-on experience supporting children and teens through life’s challenges.
With a diverse cultural background, Ala brings a unique perspective to her work, especially when helping young clients navigate identity, belonging, and cultural expectations. She understands how complex these experiences can be and is passionate about creating a space where youth feel seen, heard, and supported.
Ala is especially drawn to working with children and adolescents, recognizing how pivotal those years are in shaping self-understanding and emotional well-being. She is committed to fostering resilience, confidence, and self-awareness in the clients she works with.
