Sandra Netto
LICSW,MLADC
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and a master’s level alcohol and drug abuse counselor (MLADC). I bring 30 years of experience to Compass of Hope Counseling. I enjoy working with young adults, adults and elderly clients.
I focus on client strengths and ensure that they set the pace in sessions, focusing on strengths and empowerment along the way. It is critical for clients to feel safe and supported as they navigate their way toward change.
My professional experience includes working in the inpatient setting, working in a partial hospital setting and also providing psychiatric care to people hospitalized due to complications from substance use disorder. I also have experience working with people who are incarcerated, both pretrial and sentenced.
Additionally, I am available to provide court ordered evaluations for drug and alcohol use. I understand the impact that substance use disorder can have on individuals and their families. I know that recovery is possible and support along the way is essential. Once an individual enters into recovery, there is much more to work through, including reestablishing healthy relationships and routines.
I am looking forward to developing strong therapeutic relationships with new clients!
