Dr. Linda Pimenta

Dr. Pimenta brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to her work as a compassionate and dedicated provider. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO in 2014, a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of New Hampshire in 2005, and later completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, also at UNH.

After retiring from the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2022, Dr. Pimenta opened her own private practice, continuing her lifelong commitment to patient-centered care. Her distinguished career in the VA system included roles such as Associate Director of Patient Care Services in Lexington, KY and Salt Lake City, UT, and Associate Chief Nurse for Acute Care in Manchester, NH. She also served in various clinical and leadership positions including Occupational Health Coordinator and Provider, Neurology and Surgery Nurse Practitioner, and Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Early in her career, she was a Research Coordinator for the New England Heart Institute while pursuing her graduate studies.

Dr. Pimenta has contributed to clinical research and ethics through her service on Institutional Review Boards for Dartmouth College, White River Junction VA, and the VISN 1 New England VA Network. She is federally certified in mediation and trained in professional coaching and mentoring.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Pimenta is a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother to two grandchildren who live nearby. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and has a passion for travel, photography, hiking, cycling, and connecting with nature.
